On to a green footprint

Are you aware of the environmental impact of shipping a package? We have tried to make this clear by means of an overview.

CO2 emission transport per package:

The average distance from our office in Tilburg to you as a customer is 73.2 km,

  • Average consumption of the van is 7.25 liters,
  • The CO2 emissions per km. (7.25 x 2640)/100 = 191.4 g CO2/km.
  • 1 tree is good for 300 kg CO2 absorption.
  • The CO2 emission per package is therefore (73.2 km. X 191.4 g CO2/km.)/1000 = 14.01 kg per km.

As you can see in the calculation above, a return shipment has a large feed footprint for the environment.

If you don't return a product and you live 73.2 km from our company, it means that we saved 0.0467 trees!

We will do everything we can to keep the number of returns nil.

Do you also want to do your bit to limit returns?

Think in advance:

Are you sure of the products you ordered or can we help you with advice?
Can you purchase larger items so that we don't have to send multiple packages within a short period of time?

When we all do our bit, it's for the benefit of the environment!
